Our body has an innate intelligence and never makes mistakes. If one has excessive weight, there is a reason for it and it's important to get to the underlying cause(s) to address and resolve. Weight loss/fat loss happens naturally once you address and resolve underlying causes.

Did you know chronic stress, suppressed emotions, trauma, subconscious beliefs, dysfunctional breathing and relationship dynamics are the biggest contributors and major root causes to excess weight?
These major chronic stresses also contribute to poor quality of sleep, insomnia, leaky gut, poor digestion, excess stubborn weight, poor detoxification. Quality sleep is necessary for optimal hormone levels, gut health, detoxification, healthy weight and for overall health and well-being.
These major chronic stress responses must be addressed and resolved at the root not only for optimal health but also for optimal hormones and weight.
In our modern day society, most people are chronically stressed and not living in alignment with how our biology is designed. There are consequences to this and our hormones and excessive weight reflect this.
You can be eating the most nutritious foods and exercising and still have stubborn, excess weight.
The solution is not to count calories, undereat, intense workouts or over exercise. These can all actually backfire and contribute to excess stubborn weight and also lead to imbalances, chronic illness & chronic physical symptoms.
Before taking supplements, medications, medical interventions, it's important to address and resolve these major root causes first.
If you are chronically stressed, you are predominantly in fight/flight and a chain reaction of inflammatory responses occurs that affects your overall health and well-being. This alone has a big influence on hormones, weight for both men and women. For women this can result in elevated cortisol, tribute to anxiety, premature aging, fatigue, and belly fat accumulation/stubborn weight.
Chronic stress which includes the chronic stress from suppressed emotions, trauma, also creates chronic inflammation in areas stored in the body.

It makes a HUGE difference when you learn how to work with the innate intelligence of the body instead of working against it.
Addressing and resolving chronic inflammation and chronic stress is important as it will increase cortisol levels in the body and wire to predominantly fight/flight. When in this survival state, your body will store fat and also contribute to hormonal "imbalances" which is how the body's innate intelligence responds.
It's also important to address and resolve your subconscious beliefs, suppressed emotions, unresolved trauma as this is also a chronic stress response that creates chronic inflammation and elevated cortisol levels in the body and influences DNA expression to be in survival state.
Also, healing the relationship you have with your body is critical. If you are fighting with your body, trying to control, forcing, frustrated, etc and don't resolve with inner work, your body perceives it as an attack/threat and once again shifts into fight/flight and elevating cortisol levels and creating chronic inflammation in the body.
Toxins are stored in fat cells so it is helpful to support your body & cells detoxification.
In addition to the above, intuitive eating, anti inflammatory foods are helpful along with long overnight fasting.
Moderate exercise and increasing muscle mass is helpful also. However not over exercising as this will have the opposite effect as this can elevate cortisol levels and testosterone levels, hormonal 'imbalances' in women.
Circadian rhythm and getting a good night's deep sleep is important too.
I used to be prediabetic close to 150 lbs and with all the suggestions above, inner work, emotional trauma release, resolving chronic stress response, healing my relationship with my body, etc, my body has been at my perfect weight since as I learned to work with the innate intelligence of my body instead of against it.
